We learn a little more about ourselves, We just keep coming on, We learn a little more about ourselves, When we're in each other's arms. Since I contemplated self worth, In lonely rooms, hours on end, With electronics for soldering, And with pencils and pens, Just screaming for ideas to be, Drawn out, and the best part is, I drew them out, Even when drawing wasn't the job description. Is that such a bad thing? Maybe, I don't know, Because many of those ideas became real, and I know, That without taking notes, who knows, Maybe none of those ideas would of ever made it out. So cheers, And here's To the better years, My peers fear the worst, But the worst fears us. As the new apex predators of earth, We have nothing to be scared of. I need this right now, I need to be here right now, I need to do this right now. But I'm still afraid of myself. Who, me? As if the sea, Wasn't vast enough to be, Able to take my mind off of everything else. As if the sea, Didn't contain enough unknown possibilities. As if paths weren't stacked upon path's upon path's, upon path's upon path's upon, As if path's weren't paved precariously enough, As if choices didn't unlock more doors and each door had new path's leading from other path's towards more unknown forks in the road with new path's and new road's. These road's don't all lead to Rome. But Rome isn't exactly a place to call home. I'm not leading myself blindly down roads all winding, Just to reach a destination conquered by other souls. I could quote famous dead souls and philosophers And I could tell you life's just a cave, And if you leave the sadness like you were your own author, You'd come right back down to the familiar gravitational wave. I could make up stories with well thought strategies, Stories of tragedies expanded for the sake of telling, And told for the sake of forcing an audience to relate to me. No, all these words are a reflection of what I'm selling. Me. The apex predator. Taught to fear nothing, It's built in my nature, But me, the apex predator, Is afraid of everything I can't predict.

Grapevine 07:18
Look at this world we've made, Are we happy here? Or do we just have to be here? Look at all the things i've died for, Just so I'd have you near, Just so we could be near. The grapevines growing all around us, The grapevines got us all wound up. The grapevines growing all around us, And now we can see all the things we have done, And I'm feeling so much closer to you, breaking the borderline, And I can tell where we are going. All our moves just tighten up the grapevine. I'll never understand, How you lead me here, Or why you lead me here. But things started looking up, When you crossed my eyes, When you looked into my eyes. And I'm just speaking from my heart, That I've never seen a look like yours, I've never been with a soul like yours. And maybe all these grapevines, Are just to bring us closer, Because I feel ourselves coming closer. And now we can see all the things we have done, And I'm feeling so much closer to you, breaking the borderline, And I can tell where we are going. All our moves just tighten up the grapevine. And maybe I'm just coming on, to you based on all the things you said last time. Because I'm getting closer to you with each and every dawn, All our moves just tighten up the grapevine. Baby can't you feel it? Tightening around us? Oh baby can't you feel it? Grapevines all around us!

We'd build trick corridors, With ever changing walls within, Where every door would lead, You right back to the front again. And we'd build quite the lobby, With trap doors leading to the pits. And dungeons leading to dungeons, Oh make them wish they threw sand instead of bricks. They'd toss us bricks, And we'd build castles, They'd toss us bricks, Build ourselves into the clouds! They'd toss us bricks, And we'd build castles, They'd toss us bricks, Build ourselves into the clouds! They'd toss us bricks, And we'd build castles, They'd toss us bricks, Build ourselves into the clouds! We'd have our very own place, Where we could hide in safety's clench. And their'd be no way they could find, Without falling to our trench. We'll have a way to stand our ground, Baby maybe we've been doing it right all along. If they want to hate the things we do, We'll love ourselves, let them think we're wrong. In the deep of winters, The caverns will grow colder by night. But we'll be set up cosy and warm, By the fire's flickering light. Incandescence will give the essence, That we are living like the old days. And finding our own ways, In these castles we made.

Balloonhead 06:17
Do you know that feeling I get, When you're around, There's a feeling I get, When you're not around. And I wish I knew how to get all of this, Out of my mind from this balloon head of mine. It's overcrowded with thoughts, And it's bursting to get things in line. I'm just not getting how I feel when I'm alone. I get these thoughts that I'm supposed to be alone. There's just this thing about it, There's just this thing about it, Can't wrap my balloon head around it, Can't wrap the strings around it.
