All Of This Is Nebraska

Say now, hold on,
Speak out upon,
All the little tiny vices,
That I rely on.
Hey now, hold up,
Don't stare close up.
My conscious,
argues deeply until it erupts.
Say now, hold on,
Speak out upon,
All the little tiny vices,
That I rely on.
Hey now, hold up,
Don't stare close up.
Your tongue,
argues deeply until it erupts.
I was pulled in by your emotion,
When you looked me in the eyes,
I love all of your motions,
I hope you'll deeply realise,
When I was pulled in by your motion,
Your forgiving beach sides,
I could see you owned the ocean,
And all it's rippling water tides.

10, 000 tongues I could have spoken with.
A million lungs I could of breathed in.
10, 000 reasons why I stayed here,
And opened my hands to a life that has been.
I saw my life upside down,
I saw credibility,
I saw credibility in all the things you've done,
And I saw hope,
Oh I saw hope for my decisions that I make on this earth.
And I saw my life upside down.
A million reasons for you to leave,
10,000 ways for me to convince you to stay.
I had been a kaleidoscope of spinning intellectual colours,
Waiting to be connected with a pattern that mended with your way.
I saw my life upside down,
I saw credibility,
I saw credibility in all the things you've done,
And I saw hope,
Oh I saw hope for my decisions that I make on this earth.
And I saw my life upside down.

We tell ourselves that life should be butterflies and safety nets,
Kiddie rides and hotel shampoo’s. Happy endings.
Sappy hollywood love scenes beaming bright right into the sight of everyone around us;
So that they too can experience what it means to be depending.
Just a depending human being.
And depending on upbringing.
Depending may not be the end all.
Expending gratification unending,
We get trapped in a virtual reality where we’re all unique,
And every interconnecting bone like intergalactic entities,
Contains chapters, rhythms, lyrics,
Each encrypted with data over run by anomalous stories.
But checking in at 7 billion human beings,
Each individually placed around this planet earth and what for,
But to tear down that virtually reality.
Seeing someone in the same outfit as you may make friends as well, but tears that virtual lie down even more.

Celestial Body

Dream big,
Because the small things don't seem to matter.
I dreamt small,
And now I've lost all collateral.
Celestial bodies,
Are much bigger here than I imagined,
Celestial dreams,
Are much grander than I ever wanted,
But they're not out of reach,
I'm just out of reach,
And I reach and reach and reach,
For a long time until I fall short,
And forget what I was reaching for,
In the first place.
Dream big,
Because the small things don't seem to matter.
I dreamt small,
And now I've lost all collateral.
Celestial bodies,
Are much bigger here than I imagined,
Celestial dreams,
Are much grander than I ever wanted,
And maybe they're out of reach,
Because I'm just out of reach,
And I reach and reach and reach,
For a long time until I fall short,
And forget what I was reaching for,
In the first place.

Disasters & Dangers
04:19
|

Red sky in the morning,
Oh, Lord we'll just push for home,
Oh, I don't take the warnings,
Because I'm tired of drifting alone.
The red sky rising this morning,
Reminds me of her eyes I adore.
Made of ivory, gold, and something,
some sort of colour I've never seen before.
Storms stirring up in the distance,
The wind's blowing them over head.
I can't steer myself away in this instance,
But I'll try 'cause I'm not better off dead.
(Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,)
Disasters and dangers that I,
(Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,)
Was aware I'd put myself into and I,
(Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,)
Disasters and dangers that I,
(Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,)
Was aware I'd put myself into and I,
Spread my arms to the sky,
Feel the rain soak my skin from over head,
There's a sense of warmth when I try,
To convince myself that I've led,
Myself in the right direction home.
Away from the red sky this morning,
I'm tired of drifting alone,
So I didn't take the warning.
Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,
Disasters and dangers that I,
Was aware I'd put myself into and I,
Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,
Disasters and dangers that I,
Was aware I'd put myself into and I,
Settle down, you fucking seas,
Settle down, oh and carry me,
Settle down, and take me,
The only wrong I've done out here,
Is try to take myself home on my own.
Settle down, you tell-tale seas,
Settle down, oh and carry me,
Settle down, and take me,
The only wrong I've done out here,
Is trying to bring myself home on my own.
Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,
Disasters and dangers that I,
Was aware I'd put myself into and I,
Hold on, high hopes,
hold on, high ropes,
Disasters and dangers that I,
Was aware I'd put myself into and I.

Deer Hunter
04:58
|
|||
Master of the wind,
Here just to survive.
There's a life to be made,
And a family to keep alive.
Holding back breath's,
There's a ghost in the forest.
Under radiant green beams,
Of aurora borealis.
Under lights of sea foam greens,
Violent blues like you'd never believe,
A small shimmer of hope shines down,
What's done is done, what's needed will be achieved.
A deer treads calmly into a patch,
Where light glimmers with it so well.
Pulling the penultimate arrow from his quiver,
The deer hunter lets the arrow dispel.
An arrow pressed deep into the chest,
Of the ever fading deer,
The hunter looks deep into the eyes,
Of the creature, without fear.
Watching it's spirit dance up into the lights.
As life drain from its eyes,
The animal's done more than it will ever realise,
As it dances into the sky.

Islands
05:26
|

We are drifting among islands.
We hold fast to pieces of scraps from boats that,
Crashed and sunk down in the past.
Drifting among Islands,
We are, drifting among ocean wreck,
Among pieces of boats that,
Crashed and sunk down in the past.
Drifting among Islands.
There's plenty more boat wrecks,
Happening off on the horizon.
There's more headed to join us,
On these stranded little islands.
We stand fast on our islands,
Setting camp and claiming territories,
That were never ours to claim in the first place,
Standing on our islands.
We stand firm on our islands,
Creating civil war and unrest on territories,
That were never ours to claim in the first place,
Standing on our islands.
There's plenty more boat wrecks,
Happening off on the horizon.
There's more headed to join us,
On these stranded little islands.
And plenty more broken souls,
Sifting in among wreckage,
There's more headed to establish their name,
As we become more aggressive.

I don't see the hopes rise up,
Still I move in closer to take a look,
And curiousness makes me tumble hard,
And writes down my mistakes book by stupid book.
I don't tend to wander off course,
But I don't tend to let myself get close enough to explore.
I don't tend to let myself tumble anymore,
My books are filled with chapters and titles of inner sanctioned war!

I've seen helpless breathing,
Hopeless feelings,
All along a subway line,
I've been a helpless breather,
Throughout timeless fever,
Dreams that clasp my mind.
I've seen hopeful moments,
of atonement,
Placing faith in human kind.
I've seen faultless treason,
I've seen destructive reasons,
To tear apart ties.
But I've seen the separator,
Drown victims in saltwater,
Who just pass life by.
I could be more intertwined,
With assertion into humankind,
With finding myself and where I belong,
And not holding back and just moving on,
And not passing life by.
I've seen nations failing,
To hold up to their own detailing,
Becoming victims to a deadly prize.
But I've seen hand's out of control,
Lose everything that they stole,
While passing life by.
I've seen hopeful moments,
of atonement,
Placing faith in human kind.
I've seen faultless treason,
I've seen destructive reasons,
To tear apart ties.
But I've seen the separator,
Drown victims in saltwater,
Who just pass life by.
I could be more intertwined,
With assertion into humankind,
With finding myself and where I belong,
And not holding back and just moving on,
And not passing life by.
